AGH! So Cody and I are moving Friday, and it's supposed to be about 102 degrees outside. Sounds about right. Awweeeeesome.
Cody's parents are actually just a short drive from here ATM, in Irving for a Postal Workers Union Shabang. We're going to catch up with them tomorrow mayhaps. Amanda is planning on being here Thursday, and then we round up the troops to get us all moved in on Friday! Hooray!

I was just checking out the latest on Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. If you haven't heard anything about it, check it out. I'm a bit more hopeful for this than the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory mess that was bestowed upon us all. I think the animation/live action could be a winning mix this time around. He's using the real actors features, but distorting them digitally (like giving them outrageous makeup or making their head ginormous) so I would like to think that he could present something innovative and good. Oh, how I would like to think. He's a very creative fellow, that Tim Burton. It just doesn't always come off just right haha! The BEST part is that it's coming out on my birthday next year HURRAH!

Oh, so Cody has been reading Brent Week's The Night Angel Trilogy, and he's been saying some good things about it, so I'll probably pick that up next. Right after I get a hold of the 2nd&3rd Midnighters. That is, if the book stores continue to insist on NOT carrying the 2nd&3rd books of Dennis L. McKiernan's Once Upon a Time series. Keeping an eye out for Once Upon a Spring Morn, and Once Upon an Autumn's Eve (I think that's what it was). We're taking the Sword of Truth series off to Half-Price Books to get our pennies-worth out of those. We just feel like it would be more of a waste to actually lug them off to the now apartment than drop them off at a store for a few cents each. I only say that because from what I understand, Half-Price Books doesn't offer much for books you sell. Too bad. But it's not like anyone else would pay much, either. We're also giving up on the Xbox, since we haven't played it in at least a year. That's going to Movie Trading Company for whatever they offer, along with all the Xbox games, and our unwanted DVDs.

Well I've got blisters from cutting up tshirts, but I've got Sarah's pillow done. I may post pictures, but I may leave it for a surprise when she gets here. Who knows? It all pretty much depends on how bored I get. In the mean time, I've got to go get some laundry done.
